Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her roles as lead actress on a number of TV shows, and also for her powerful performance in films. The actress is popular on Canadian and American Television. Emily began acting at 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie on one of Katie's movies. When she discovered that acting was a love, she began to learn how to act and auditions. After several commercials that were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You afraid of Dark? One scene in which she appeared without speaking a word. Her first major break at 15, when she got a role as a regular in Glory Days, a WB program Glory Days. Emily's performance attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show ended in just nine short seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Emily was also a ballerina and photographer was recognized by Teen magazine as one the best actresses younger than 20. She was ranked the 51st on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
